1More Day and Counting

Today, Wednesday, is the second to last day before Halloween. I am very excited and hope to get tons and tons of candy this year. In school I am doing well and I am happy that I got an 100 percent on the Language arts test. I think that I am trying hard in every subject and that I have a good grade. Science is going well, too. I believe their is a quiz tomorrow and I know that I have the right notes for it. While math may be difficult, I'm starting to get it better. Now it's not that hard at all. A Good Start?

Today starts another week and just like very Monday, I feel like I don't want to go to school. Right now I am getting ready for school by making sure my book bag is ready. i am also studying my science book, today we start a whole new chapter since we did the chapter test on Friday. I feel very confident that I did well on that test. I also feel very confident about getting a good grade in Language Arts. Before this year I did not like this subject very well, but now it seems better. I don;t know how, but it does. Well I am off to another day of school.

A Good Time

This weekend I decided to do all my homework early, so i won't have to worry about it anymore. I actually did it very fast, it took no time at all. Now I have the whole weekend to myself. I have to work really hard if I want to get all A's since the report cards are coming up. In the progress reports I got 2 B's, which I hope to fix. I am trying really hard to earn those 2 A's that I need.Well all I have to do now is just enjoy my free time and prepare for another week, which to my likeness there is no school on Friday. Friday is also Halloween. I just have to go through 4 days of school and then a long weekend.

Finally the Weekend

Today was a great day for me. I feel like I did very well on my science test, I studied all night, I can't fail this test. I am doing well in my school work and I'm really getting better at math. Today I was happy that the principal threw the former baseball players a party. It was nice to nice my baseball team mates again. I don't have a lot of homework on the weekend and i think I can easily do the one I do have.What else could I say, Have a Good Weekend!

A new Schedule

Since my baseball team lost in the playofs, I no longer have to stay after school. At first I thought it would be nice to have a break, but mow I'm starting to miss it. School is going pretty well, tonight I have studied hard for my science test, which I can't fail.Math is becoming more and more difficult. I have to work hard to keep up, but I think I can do it.A few days ago I turned in my language arts project about the story, "Dark they were and Golden Eyed". I think it was a good story and I really liked it, specially the ending.

Finally Thursday

Today was a great day because of one special reason, it's Thursday.I know that it sounds weird, but there's no school on Friday. Today was any other day, usual routine as always. I find that math is getting harder with all the algebra and weird equations. I think I'm doing pretty well and I don't think I will get a bad grade if I keep it up.After school I always go to baseball practices and games.My team is doing well and we are undefeated. The playoffs will start next Tuesday and I think that this team can do something no other James Madison has ever done, win the championship!Have a good long weekend!

School can be tough

Today I learned that school can be tough. I have a lot of work, home work and projects. I'm also in the baseball team, so I cant fall behind. I know that some how I will turn everything in and do pretty well. Besides that today was a pretty normal day, except for the fact that there was no baseball game and I got to come home early.

Another Tuesday

To me this day started out like just another Tuesday. I went to school and started the day.In language arts I continued to read my book,The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, I find it getting very interesting. The most exciting part of my day was baseball. Up to this day I had not gotten a hit, all walks, but when I went up to hit and I swung the bat. My first hit! Well it started like just another Tuesday, maybe it still is, but I enjoyed it.

Another day

Today was a good day, it was Friday. Even though it's Friday it's still another day in school.My book,the adventures of Tom Sawyer, is getting pretty good. Tom has had some funny adventures, like running away and pretending to be a pirate. I'm really starting to like the book. This weekend I have a lot of homework, it's going to be a short weekend I tell you.I think language arts is becoming a pretty good class for me. At the beginning of the year I didn't really like it, now it's one of my favorites. Mrs. Miller is really a good teacher. Have a good weekend!

Mostly the Same

As I have noticed in the past couple of days, almost every day has the same procedure. In language arts, you get in the classroom, read your book, write about it and do some work in your writer's journal. One thing that has been different is that there has been no baseball practice all week. I'm not sure I like that very much, though. Today i had a lot of homework and have just finished it now. I think that in school I'm doing pretty well, I should at least get all A's and B's. Maybe one day something amazing will happen in my life, but for now it's mostly the same.

Today in language arts

Today in language arts was a pretty good day, I mean how can you say it was a bad day.As usual the class got in and started reading our books, mines of course is "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer".Even though I just started this book, I'm beginning to like it. I'm really starting to connect to Tom in some ways.After that we wrote about how we felt about home. I really like those writing activities because they get me thinking and I really get to express what I think. The rest of the day went as usual,again, some work here and there and the day was over. I was also happy there was no baseball practice because of rain, that means I have the whole weekend for myself.

P.S. Did I mention my team won our baseball game yesterday!

Language Arts and the Rest

Today in language arts I read the book, The adventures of Tom Sawyer, I decided to read this book because it was written by one of the greatest authors of all time, Mark Twain. The rest of the time we did a sheet about complete subjects and predicates. After school I had baseball practice. I'm really happy to be in the team and really excited for tomorrows game. For homework I read about Nelson Mandela and I think he is a great man. So that's the story for today.
